Callora Account & Call Alerts

How account holders opt in to text messages from Callora, word for word, with the complete workflow. Last updated September 2026.

What Callora is, and what these messages are for

Callora is a business communications platform: customers connect a phone number and Callora answers, routes, transcribes and summarises their calls and messages. Accounts are created by the business owner or their staff.

Use case: Account notifications (2FA/verification codes, missed-call and voicemail alerts, message summaries, billing notices) sent only to the account holder about activity on their own Callora account.

Not used for: No marketing, no promotional offers, no third-party content, and nothing is ever sent to numbers that were not entered by their own owner during sign-up.

Where users sign up (the call-to-action)

The only place a phone number can enter this programme is the public sign-up form:

https://call.metis.gold/signup — publicly viewable, no login or account needed to see the form and the opt-in checkbox.

The consent checkbox sits directly under the optional “Mobile number” field. It is unchecked by default and must be ticked deliberately. It is not bundled with accepting the Terms, and consent is not a condition of signing up or of any purchase.

The exact consent language on that form

“Yes, text me account and call alerts from Callora at the number above. Message frequency varies (typically 1-10 messages per month, triggered by activity on my own account). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”

Rendered next to the unchecked checkbox, with links to this page, the Privacy Policy and the Terms.

Opt-in workflow — Web sign-up form (only opt-in method)

Where: https://call.metis.gold/signup - public, no login required to view

  1. The visitor opens the public sign-up page and fills in name, business email and password.
  2. Below the password there is an OPTIONAL "Mobile number" field. Leaving it empty still creates the account.
  3. Directly beneath it is a single checkbox, UNCHECKED by default, labelled with the consent language quoted on this page.
  4. The visitor must actively tick that checkbox AND have entered a mobile number for consent to be recorded. There is no pre-selection and no bundling with the Terms acceptance.
  5. A line under the checkbox states that consent is not a condition of signing up or of any purchase, and links to this page, the Privacy Policy and the Terms.
  6. On submit, Callora stores the number, the exact consent wording, the wording version, the timestamp, the originating IP and the page URL against that account.
  7. Messages are then sent only to that number, only about that account, and only when that account has activity.

Message flow and samples

Messages are transactional and triggered by the account holder’s own activity — there is no scheduled or promotional send. Representative messages:

Verification code

Callora: your verification code is 481920. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out.

Missed call

Callora: missed call from +1 555 010 2233 at 2:14 PM. Voicemail transcript is in your dashboard. Reply STOP to opt out.

Billing notice

Callora: your invoice for September is ready in Billing. Reply STOP to opt out.

Frequency: Varies by account activity - typically 1-10 messages per month. Not a recurring scheduled broadcast.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Callora does not charge for the alerts themselves.

How to stop, and how to get help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. Auto-reply: “You are unsubscribed from Callora alerts and will receive no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe.”

Reply HELP for assistance. Auto-reply: “Callora alerts: for help email support@metis.gold. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.”

Account holders can also remove or change their mobile number, or withdraw consent, at any time from account settings, or by emailing support@metis.gold.

Records we keep as proof of consent

For every number in the programme we store, against that account:

  • the mobile number as entered by its owner;
  • the verbatim consent wording shown at the time, plus its version tag;
  • the date and time consent was given;
  • the originating IP address and the URL of the page the consent was given on;
  • any later withdrawal of consent, with its timestamp.
