Callora SMS Consent & Opt-In

This page documents how end users of Callora consent to receive SMS/MMS messages, the categories of messages sent, message frequency, HELP and STOP behavior, and carrier disclosures. It is the public record referenced during A2P 10DLC campaign registration.

1. Program name and purpose

Program name: Callora Account & Transactional Messaging

Program purpose: Callora is a multi-tenant communications platform (voice, SMS, iMessage). This SMS program sends account verification codes, call/voicemail notifications, campaign replies initiated by the customer, security alerts, and (with separate opt-in) product updates to end users who have created a Callora account or provided their number through a Callora customer’s opt-in form.

2. How end users opt in

End users can opt in via any of the following methods. Consent is documented and time-stamped in Callora’s system of record.

  1. Web signup: A user visits call.metis.gold/signup, enters their mobile number, and checks a box next to the following language: “I agree to receive SMS from Callora for account verification, call notifications, and account activity. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. See Privacy Policy and Terms.” The box is not pre-checked.
  2. Keyword opt-in: Texting START to any Callora sender number.
  3. Verbal or web opt-in via a Callora customer: When one of Callora’s business customers collects a phone number and consent through their own web form or dialog, that consent is recorded and honored end-to-end. The customer is contractually required to obtain express written consent under the TCPA and CTIA guidelines.

STOP response:

Callora: You are unsubscribed and will receive no more messages from this program. Reply START to resubscribe.

Callora also honors CTIA standard opt-out keywords: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT. Opt-out is processed immediately and recorded per-number and per-program.

6. Message frequency

Message frequency varies by account activity and account type. Typical users receive up to approximately 10 messages per week. High-volume workflows (e.g. active campaign monitoring) may receive more.

7. Rates and carriers

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging rates apply to any messages sent or received.

Supported carriers: All major US carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and their MVNOs. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. No sharing of mobile information

No mobile information (phone numbers, SMS opt-in status, or SMS-derived data) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
